OUR PROGRAMS

 

We offer several programs for children 2 to 6 years of age. our classes consist of free exploration time, story time, calendar, learning centers, small group instruction, snack and recess.

 

The Toddlers Class
(24 months- 30 months) is a free play class where the children develop different skills (fine motor, grass motor), basic information about themselves, colours, numbers and activities for daily living (ADL)

The Pre-school Class
(3-4 years old) is an experimental class where the majority of the learning of experiences is informal. We will expose the children to a variety of learning and explore many themes (calendar, weather, holidays, letters, shapes, colors etc.)  Throughout the year. basic handwriting (tracing), numeracy and phonics will be introduced in this class. Children in this class will also have many opportunities for creative play and experiential learning.

The Begindergarten Class
(4-5 years old) is a perfect accelerated class for 4 and 5 years old with strong literacy skills and current kindergarteners seeking academic enrichment. the class will go beyond the basics of literacy and provide more in-dept instruction in the areas of literacy, math and science.

 

The Kindergarten Class
(5-6 years old) this program reflects the belief that five to six years students are capable and active learners, full of potential and ready to take full ownership of their learning. It approaches children as a unique individual who live and learn within families and communities.
